I just can’t get over how beautiful Washington State is. Giving myself the slightest pat on the back for taking the plunge to move out here, get a job, and find some awesome people to hang out with. #pctnext?

8/23/13: My final register entry

"I hope I never forget what I went through to get here: shivering through 15’ nights, slogging through 95’ climbs, putting my warm, dry feet into frozen socks, trying to ignore hoards of mosquitoes bouncing off of my skin, and of course the feeling that I couldn’t possibly take another step. But because I kept taking steps I was also able to experience elation at the top of a 6 hour climb, joy in the company of fellow thru-hikers, and awestruck gratitude at the kindness and generosity of trail angels. Class of 2013, we’ve been through a lot. Congrats to us!!!! (F)inder"
